Other fees (in addition to any transaction fee) include: withdrawals from non-CIBC bank machines (for CIBC Smart Plus Accounts, the fee for all non-CIBC ATM withdrawals in Canada, the U.S. “ CIBC-branded” means any brand that has CIBC in its name. For all accounts, transfers to CIBC-branded loans (excluding CIBC Personal Lines of Credit), mortgages and investments (registered and non-registered) are free. For CIBC eAdvantage Savings Accounts, a transaction does not include transfers to your other CIBC personal bank account(s) and to your CIBC Personal Line(s) of Credit (except Interac e-Transfer service which will be treated as a transaction) and transfers to your CIBC Credit Card account(s).

Our Review and Appeals procedure can be accessed on the Review and Appeals Webpages.1 A transaction includes cheques, withdrawals, transfers, pre-authorized payments, bill payments (including CIBC Credit Cards and CIBC Personal Lines of Credit) and debit purchases. However, commuting students are welcome to join for the daytime activities.

Smart start full#

We encourage successful applicants to make full use of the Smart Start residential by staying on campus for the duration of the programme. We will seek written consent to liaise with third parties for every interaction. Applicants are welcome to copy supporting adults into any email correspondence, but we will not liaise directly with parents without the express written consent of the applicant. To support applicants to prepare for university we will liaise directly with applicants over email.

Smart start how to#

Applicants must be registered as a student at Lancaster University before the 11th September 2022 (you will receive further information about how to register as a student from the University after A Level Results day which is on the 18th of August).Applicants must have submitted required evidence of an autism diagnosis and any allergies to the Disability Service before the 1st of August 2022.Applicants must be over 18 years old on or before the 11th September 2022.You will be notified about the outcome of your application on the 19th August 2022 via email. The information you provide on your application will be reviewed alongside the programme eligibility criteria and any other evidence and information you have provided to Disability and Inclusion Services. Please note that places are limited, and an application is required so that we can assess whether the residential programme is the best option for you. The Deadline for applications is the 1st of August.

The programme will include a range of activities to help you make a successful transition to university, to settle in, and build relationships with staff and students. Smart Start will take place from Sunday 11th of September to Tuesday 13th September 2022 on the Lancaster University Campus. The programme has limited spaces and eligible students will be invited to apply from the 1st of June 2022. The Smart Start Residential is a pre-arrival residential for students with an autism diagnosis.
